I've been thinking about this and while the McCanns are reprehensible for leaving her unattended while they were on a Jolly. If at some point the parents of a child who is abducted in future could benefit from having such a hotline them something good would have come from this whole media circus.

I woke up to these two on the box this morning bleating that the £2,000,000 fund is running out and that the authorities haven't done enough. They also want a full review into the investigations carried out by the UK and Portugeuse Police.
