They (Mother and SF) both make me totally sick and I would not shed one single tear if something nasty happened to them 

I do not (can not, will not) believe that 'M' did not know that scanky SF was abusing the child - normal mothers would single handedly tear the still beating heart out of anyone they seriously suspected to hurting any of their children

We can only hope now that the poor child gets the proper help she needs and that perhaps she will be lucky enough to find a good adoption home.

In the interests of balance should we not wait until we know the facts?

At the moment all we know is that the child disappeared and was found with a relative of her step father and that, in the course of their investigations the police believe that they have found evidence (presumably on a PC) that the step father likes looking at mucky pictures of people who may be young enough to be classified as children. It does not follow that he has in anyway interfered with the child. Looking at the mother I would expect him to need some stimulus to be able to get it up at all.

Yes I grant that the police have been questioning the child for a long time now and she may well have told them that the step father was molesting her but equally she may not. Evidence first, then verdict and sentence is all I am saying.

My outcry however that I would tear anyone limb from limb if I felt enough proof was there that they had molested my child, or any child for that matter still stand I'm afraid.............
