The BBC reporting is so over  the top .

I have had to turn off the news just now ...it is irritating every atom of my being.

Apart from Bruce what is really getting my goat is that it seems obligatory to include a Grenfell item however tenous. Tonight we have had a girl who has written a healing poem and the fact that some of the kids have sung a song in a play.

I appreciate the families have been through hell but do they need the media reporting on absolutely everything and anything !!

You are not alone in that Darwin

I've heard that those who met him privately found him a well mannered nice guy but put him in front of a TV camera and you got a unique talent and sadly a uniquely huge ego that made me want to put a fist through the TV.

RIP Bruce you did make me laugh though.

Brian Aldiss, 92  sad24:

http://www.express.co.uk/celebrity-news/843937/Brian-Aldiss-dead-science-fiction-writer-author-passes-away-aged-92-Neil-Gaiman-tributes
I could never hear his name without thinking of Python's Julius Caesar on an Aldis Lamp

I'm sure he deserves a better epitaph but that's how the cookie crumbles

RIP
