I've just filled in an application form asking for my secondary school exam results (GCE)!

That was 1969 ;D

I know they ask but there is no way they will or can check your answers. They really don't care.
When I "retired" the HR dept had difficulty with my records. One sweet girl called me to apologise that they seemed to have GCE's listed and surely that should read GCSE?
She could not comprehend that education had been invented before she went to school herself.
