Rather like going to a pub for some special craft ale and having a shandy...  lol:
All taste the same to me once you've put some decent tonic water in the glass too

And a slice of lemon... old school like...  :thumbsup:

Lemon or like ruins it by giving it a musty quality, try it with ginger  :thumbsup:

Slice of lemon is OK, not essential though.  I hate it when they fill the glass with ice, one chunk is easily enough.  Gin and bitter lemon is most excellent too

Ginger in gin?   noooo:  Anyway there's evidence from over eating ginger nuts or drinking ginger beer that it makes me ill some hours later.  Shame but there you go
