Uninstalled it, after trying 2 joysticks , going through Microsoft's help system and checking out the forums for advice only to find I'm far from the only person who has been having this issue I can't be bothered to fight with it anymore.  noooo:

If there are any fans of the Alien franchise on here there are still a couple of days left to grab this for free from the Epic store. One of the only games that has ever managed to make my jump feet while playing it.

I've played every one of the civilization games since being introduced to the first one as a kid. It's always amused me that the nuke happy Ghandi bug from the first game has since become a character feature  lol:
