Seasonal onions. When you do make them make LOADS!

Although we have had success making them with shallots too.

Cant they grow 'em under glass or import 'em? Gits. 

mmm. Shallots. Are they nice pickled? Never had them. Dont want to make millions and they are horrible.

My Dad used to make them and pickling onions were a nightmare to get hold of in Spain so he often used shallots. Not quite the same but still pretty tasty.
