Strange suggestion and probably too long for the standard pub name - think of the cost of the signwriting alone!

How about something nice and feminine - like:

The Rose (and Crown too if you like)
The Queens Head
The Swan (White or Black I don't mind)
The Star (rising if any one wants)
The Angel (yes I know thats me  razz:)

Okay - really only joking  smile: Looked up 'strange' pub names on the net and like the the ones below but 'somehow' they STILL dont seem to encapsulate the essence and quirky character of the VP do they  noooo:

The Cat and Custard Pot  - in Kent

Muscular Arms - in Glasgow

Cow and Snuffers - in Cardiff

Donkey on Fire - in Kent

The Office - in Shefield

Can we have pickled eggs behind the bar please?

It's great when you ask for a pickled egg and a packet of crisps, then wait while they open your crisps, drop the egg in, shake it all about then tell them the crisps are for your missus and why the f*ck did you put an egg in them?
