Westminster drinking culture
« on: August 02, 2026, 09:31:29 AM »
I couldn't care less about the health issues they may face for choosing to drink so much. I do however care about the rampant hypocrisy of members of parliament being able to either turn up pissed or drink through the working day without any consequences. If you or I did that at work we'd be immediately sacked for gross misconduct but they can vote on laws and legislation whiile pissed without even a slap on the wrist.  cussing:

I do not have ducks. I do not have a row. I have squirrels and they are all at a rave.

Where's the hypocrisy?  Do they make the workplace rules of others?   noooo:

Looks to me like a small problem that yes needs addressing but being bigged up by a newspaper to give a piss up in a brewery image.
Well, whatever, nevermind
