Went to sort stereo out ..a place near me that only does in car entertainment and accessories …

Had to go in and ask someone ( who was sat chatting to his mate  ) …

Finally guy wonders over …glances in the car …and says it your speakers ..bring it back this afternoon …

It’s not the fucking speakers ..   and without”popping out “ the head unit there is zero way of knowing ..

I know this as when I decided car stereos I occasionally fitted them ….

The thing was …if the unit was knackered ..I was gonna buy a multimedia  all singing / dancing new head unit..

Well they lost that sale …

Was it that place on the Polis Road...? 

Yep …still raging …the assholes attitude was unbelievable …!..would rather him say ..” dont know “ …than take an uneducated guess ..or at least get in car and try turning it on etc …or get a 9v battery and test the speakers …

I bought an adapter cable for the wiring loom of the Pajero when I was upgrading the stereo...

Given the mahoosive size of the shop and the amount of stock they have in there it is amazing that they show fuck all interest in actually speaking to customers... 

He did begrudgingly sell me what I wanted in the end but I've never been back...

There is a good guy much further down towards town that I've used.

Gonna go my regular guy …he speaks no English ..but knows his electrical stuff ..even on the Renault …

Battlebus 2 handbrake has gone ..waiting for parts ….   So parking on flat in gear ….

Battlebus 1 ..has keycard problem ….the mobile mechanic turns up in “ regular” car …   then asks if I have any pliers .. …..  he then tries to jump start it … ..I politely explain this is not the problem ( without offending his ego ) ….he went off and said he would come back with more tools …

Then realise that MOT has expired on Renault … …..
