Saying you are born and bred in the UK is now a hate crime??

A Reform Councillor has been reported to the police for hate crimes after saying that she was born and bred in the UK during an interview on STV. I know that idiocy is rampant these days but how the hell did we get to this point, anyone with even half a brain can tell that this is and always has been a description of a familiarity and long term connection with a region or country.

Unfortunately unless we lock up loonies we can't stop them sending 22 page complaints to the police and they have to read them.  And then hopefully arrest the author for wasting police time.
