Yes I did, there is a hell of a difference between hiring someone who was found guilty of carrying out multiple armed robberies than former hackers. If you have made the choice to point a gun at someone to rob them then you've also made the choice to use it if you feel you need or want to. I've also worked with ethical/white hat hackers in the past. A lot of companies use them for external penetration testing as they are more likely to find holes and vulnerabilities that would otherwise be missed. Hell if Microsoft hadn't closed a particular security hole a group of us had a viable idea to completely fuck over child abuse websites on the dark web and their customers.
