So as mentioned before Cyprus (well Paphos ) has had an influx of refugees ..not sure which country ..but they stand out as there are not many “black “ people living here ….now when they first arrived they were put up in a nice hotel (out of season ) …..they wrecked it and had a mini riot ..now there is a 24 hour plolice car there …
Now last night I was in our local kiosk …and the mild mannered owner was screaming at one …..threading to shoot him …
I asked what the problem was ?…he explained he wouldn’t give the bloke credit (tab ) ..as he didn’t know him …
The customer then to,d him he would either come back and rob him or work hard ..get rich ..buy the shop and then sack him ..? ..
This is a shop owner who when they first arrived ,on a hot day would give them free bottles of water outside his shop ….and opened packets of cigarettes so they could buy them by each fag ….
Footnote …Most Cypriots have guns ..! So not such an idle threat as in the UK ….
