Any recommendations on how to get cat vomit out of a carpet and a rug? (Asking for a friend)

When The Dog shat on Miss A's finest Persian rug I took it to the local car wash and they jet-washed it...  whistle:

We use the so called green machine (Bissel Spot carpet cleaner)  Seems they don't make it in green anymore  rubschin:
