So new rules announced today ...NO dancing at all ....(before was vague..you could "dance by tables" ? )... Banghead

So expecting e-mails to go crazy ... noooo:

Farcical...  noooo:

https://covid19.ucy.ac.cy/

Unsurprisingly perhaps, we're aware of the daily figures in Cyprus thank you...  ;)
Was everyone else in the pub?

Despite a good vaccination rate, Cyprus has the per capita worst case rate in Europe, even worse than what Boris(Bolsonary2) has inflicted on the UK and when I asked what had gone wrong no reply from the local experts came.

But worst rate you have, that's what's farcical.  If you do nothing about it that would be beyond farce.  Luckily for you Cyprus does appear to be doing something about it, our very own Bolsonary has stuck his fetid head in the sand.

Had new rules yesterday ...the problem comes ( I think) ..we are a very small place .....

Yarp, you need a 'Safe Pass' to go to the supermarket now... ::)

I presume you'll have to check their 'Safe Pass' like they do in restaurants and if any slip through you'll get a mahoosive fine...  noooo:

In all honesty I'm more than half expecting to find us all back in at the very least regional lockdowns be the end of August/start of September.

Well that was an absolute clusterfuck. You want the 18-30 demographic to get the vaccine then make nightclub access conditional on having at least the first jab NOW instead of waiting till September to make full vaccination a requirement.   Banghead

You missed the awkward couple of minutes when someone asked Boris why he thought he was above the law regarding self isolating
