Youtube adverts
« on: April 22, 2021, 09:46:12 PM »
I've got used to Youtube having adverts between videos now but recently I'm seeing a massive jump in ads for heavy duty military hardware such as the Iron Dome anti missile system, air to air missiles and military vehicles. Just what the hell is coming that means YouTube thinks that their viewers need this much protection.  eeek:

Adblock removes all the YT ads on my laptop so it is quite a surprise to see them when watching YT on the tellybox... They are mostly for the local supermarket tho...

Music videos, some news channels and a bunch of historical videos (classical history stuff from lindybeige, castle design stuff from shadiversity, megaprojects, age of sail stuff from deachinifels) along with whatever random stuff Youtube adds in but I haven't seen anything that would make the algorithm think I'm either a major military power or interested in becoming an arms broker.

I would use adblock or something similar but my fire stick doesn't seem to like it noooo:

And it's started again, now Rafael and Rhinemetall are getting in on the act. Apparently I must REALLY need an area denial system...  eeek:

You mean apart from the 81,284,666 that voted to keep your man out of the White House . . . . .

Like your man has been a shining beacon of hope for the future, let's see:

Constant memory lapses odd behaviour and other signs of worsening dementia including calling Kamala President Harris, the weird whispering answers and his slip about not being allowed to answer questions.

Trying to take credit for the development of the Covid vaccine made possible because of Operation Warp Speed

Cancelling the keystone pipeline and banning fracking on public land to appease AOC and the left costing over 100,000 jobs before stopping sanctions on the Russian pipeline that would be even more damaging and then asking OPEC to increase output because America now has a rising energy price crisis.

Numerous falsehoods on jobs he is supposed to have had previously such as driving a big rig.

A massive national rise in crime leading to frantic backpedalling on the whole defund the police dogma with money from Covid funds being used to pay for new officers to replace the ones who have quit in disgust. (I will say certain states also share the blame here for stupid policies such as not prosecuting shoplifters if they stole less than $900 worth of items)

The absolute dictatorial hypocrisy of signing 77 executive orders within days of getting into the White House despite previously stating that you can't legislate by them.

The humanitarian disaster at the southern border made even worse by assigning Kamala to deal with it as it took her over a month before she actually went there and even then it was only because Trump had announced he was going to visit.

Printing money they can't afford to pay for people to stay at home instead of working leading directly to April's 'great resignation' of 4 million people.

Runaway inflation caused by profligate spending combined with a drastically shrunken workforce as a result of the Covid payments. Last month it was at a 13 year high.

An impending housing catastrophe because of the extended eviction moratorium.

Russia, China, North Korea and Iran smelling blood in the water which has led to multiple instances of Russian Hacking (which he then gave a target list please do not hack list) as well as China escalating their nuclear arsenal and making moves towards 'reuniting' Taiwan.

The complete and utter clusterfuck that he has made of withdrawing troops from Afghanistan that gave the Taliban long enough to plan a blitzkrieg strategy not to mention the amount of equipment that was left behind they have been able to acquire.

Would be interesting to see how many of those voters are now regretting their choice.

Trump was never the ideal candidate but he was outside the establishment which was what was needed at the time. And for the record Hilary only lost because like most of the long term politicians over there she was ignorant and arrogant enough to not only dismiss but also insult blue collar America when she called them deplorables.

Well if I wasn't on a list with the alphabet agencies I must be now. Another round of heavy duty military hardware adverts alongside a load for specialised lab equipment for genetic engineering and viral analysis.  scared2:

It's been nice knowing you all...  sad24:
