The extortionate price of keys
« on: March 28, 2021, 07:55:35 AM »
The Unlock button on Nicole's car key has worn out  evil:  I have to fiddle around with the pointy key to open the PASSENGER door (bloody French  evil:).

To supply a new key and programme it will cost £200 evil: evil: evil: Shocked:

Did you only get one smart key with the car?

But yes if you want a new dealer supplied key nowadays they are that much because for security reasons they often have to come all the way from the HQ of the car marque

If you've got the key then try Timpsons (other key repairers are available)
Well, whatever, nevermind

happy001 You should know that's the oldest trick in the book. It will disappear from outside a bar one evening and Totty will have emigrated.

Have discovered I can trick the key into working by pressing the lock button first and then then unlock  Shrugs:

New pub sweepstake folks, how long before Nick manages to completely break the lock and for a bonus will he jam the locks closed so he can't get in or open so he can't risk leaving the car anywhere.  whistle:
