About 2 years ago ...a bride to be had my PayPal "frozen" ... eeek:   she "thought " she had asked me for her deposit back ...(she hadn't) ..and we were ignoring her ..

I got it unfrozen .. but don't need that shit in "Normal" times ..too busy ... noooo:

Quite, it's the 'me me me, what's in it for me' detritus that are way way too prevalent nowadays. 
 
They wanted you to reserve a timeslot (excluding other potential work), buy/maintain gear and licences etc and somehow a deposit not being returned when they can't do their bit and turn up is outrageous.

Zactly ....I return 80?% of deposits if it is like 6 months AND a genuine reason ..purely to avoid "bad press" on FB bride sites etc ...but like you say ..I turn down work if "you" book a date (or sub it out )..so they expect me to lose out  ... noooo:

Hence why I explain Non-refundable now ...shame but needs to be clear .. Thumbs:

Bizarrely none of mine cancelled due to Covid have asked for refunds ... rubschin: (we were expecting it )....
