Just spoke to Big Sis. All she wanted to know was how Don was.

He was her first husband who died over 20 years ago. noooo:

Going to see her at Christmas as the Duchess of Twatt can't be arsed to have her at their London mansion for the day Angry9:

Something just occurred to me and it may be worth mentioning it to Social Services if they are on the case now and likely investigating her standard of care to date. Has the Duchess been claiming carer's allowance?

You don't but Social Services have access to the information. If/when they do start their investigation mention it to them as a concern.

FWIW (judging on the experience of my mother) going to see her in her home at Christmas is probably better for your sister than her having to travel that day.

Had planned to see Big Sis on December 27 but new nursing home rules require 3 nominated visitors. The Duchess has bagged all three for her and her daughters who never visit  Angry9: Angry9: Banghead Banghead Banghead
