Data Protection!
« on: June 27, 2020, 03:52:24 PM »
So, The Boy's mobile phone is not werking.
I call Tesco Mobile as I pay his damn bill and they won't talk to him for "data protection" reasons.
I call "Customer Care"  evil:
They tell me I can get him a new phone for "just £81". It is his birthday next week and this may get me off lightly  ::)
They take me through "Security " for reasons of "Data Protection"  evil:
They can send the phone to me but not to him  Banghead
Why can't they send it to his address?
"Data Protection"
Can he go into a branch of Tesco and pay the £81 himself?
No, you are the account holder and for reasons of "Data Protection"........
Can't they phone me when he is in the shop and take me through security so I can prove that I am the account holder and happy for him to give them £81
Well, you see, "Data protection" means you have to be there in person.
That is a 200 mile round trip!
Well, Data Protection.......
