Thieving garages

Tyre persistently losing pressure.

Go to regular place. Shut down.  Drive elsewhere. Avoid Halfrauds (RIP Growler).

Go to Mr Tyre.

They check. "The valve is leaking. We can replace it."

Me: Go ahead

Them: It is a SPECIAL valve, but luckily we have them in stock.  :thumbsup:

It is a clever valve that tells you when a tyre is losing pressure. Trouble is, it doesn't tell you WHICH tyre  evil:  I imagine you can retrofit them to the clown car  :thumbsup:

Anything goes wrong, the car squeals like a teenage girl at a Harry Styles concert. Reminds me of the time poor Jim had a nervous breakdown  sad24: sad24:

I spose these valves would actually double the value of the clown car  rubschin: noooo:

If you look back far enough you'll see both BM and I bought such TPMS pressure monitoring systems, they are very good

My car now has them built in - IIRC into the wheels but the sensors will be just as pricey

Same as mine and Mrs K's.  Compulsory in all new cars sold in the EU for a few years now (can't see even Boris scrapping that rule)
