The car we've rented
« on: November 18, 2019, 02:50:36 AM »
So British Airway book us a Toyota Camry (boring) so we arrive last night prepared to pay for an upgrade.  But no the Avis lady says we have a free upgrade . . . .

 . . . . .to a Holden Commodore (generally equally as boring)

Except this turns out to be the 3.6L 315bhp RS model and clucking bell does it go but is also a really easy drive

My beloved AMG hot hatch may have to look out.  It may have more power but this car is lovely and holds our 64.4kg of luggage easy

real pic later

Well, whatever, nevermind

Well talking of helping hands if you try just gently drifting back into lane 1 on the highway this car decides you must be falling asleep and steers you back again.  Very disconcerting at first but eventually got to like it and its associated displey thta goes green when you're perfectly in the middle of a lane

And I got 44 mpg out of it - not bad for a muscle car

But bestest of all, look how much luggage we got in the boot  Shocked:  and it shut

Well, whatever, nevermind
