July 8th I have a willycam experience in the mid afternoon and then I am driving to Scunthorpe to stay the night prior to the Boy's graduation ceremony in Hull the following morning.
Failing to get any sense from the Boy about arrangements:
What will you be wearing?
Cap and gown
Yes but what will you be wearing under that?
A suit
Have you got a suit?
Silence....
Where are we meeting?
Silence....
Have you got tickets for the ceremony?
Silence.....
WHat about lunch afterwards?
Silence...
I e mailed Mrs Nick. SHe informs me that:
1. The ceremony is from 10.30-12.30 followed by drinks for
students and staff at 1.00.
2. Lunch has therefore been booked in a restaurant for
4.00 
3. The Boy is contacting the appropriate team
today to enquire about tickets
I ask where we are meeting prior to the ceremony
Silence.....
This may well become a fiasco
