So these two rods have standard screw threads at each end so you can screw then into the base at one end and two more rods at the top end.

As you screw one end the other end unscrews  Banghead Banghead Banghead  Banghead Repeat for all eternity. I may have to read the instructions again, but I can see no way to resolve this  cussing: cussing: cussing:

I could not understand why many people found this lamp so difficult to assemble or suggested that it is 'cheap' or may fail sometime fairly soon. It takes a bit of thinking for a few minutes but the instructions and diagrams are easy to follow and quite clear enough. It is probably best to have a helping hand due to the length of the uprights while gently drawing-up the pre-configured cables back through the upright poles but it was not at all difficult. Everything screwed neatly into place exactly as per the instructions. The base of the unit is lovely, quite heavy, and supports the whole unit very well indeed, with no tilting or swaying. Just ensure you screw the components together properly and tighten any nuts that they show you to do. Even the proper size spanner is included.

It's almost worth buying one to see how quick we can do it

And then return it for a refund of course

To be fair some of the reviews say it is a bit difficult to assemble, needs a spanner etc
Well, whatever, nevermind

The lamp was very easy to assemble on my own without use of the instructions. I'm a 50 year old female and if I can do it, anyone can!
