Received two Christmas cards yesterday.

I stopped 'doing' Christmas a few of years ago, I send no cards or give pressies. I can watch the approach of the big day without feeling a sense of panic or impending doom. It's very liberating.

There're not kids. They both think the same as me.

Christmas is one big con, you only have to watch the adverts that promise a perfect Christmas, you only just have buy their product or shop at their supermarket.

Adverts are bad enough at any time but Christmas really shows what a mad consumer society we've become.
