Snail away, snail away, snail away

After months of no rain to help ease the slippy slidey progress of snails in the garden you would have thought they would have dried out too.
Not seen any around for many many weeks .
However a little burst of rain and the invasion begins !!! Not just likkle ones but big crunchers!!!
Where have they been hiding ?
Horrible likkle feckers!!
