What do we all think? 
We went to one of those hypnosis shows in the village. It is entertainment only but at the beginning of the show they guy ran a 'test' on the audience to see who he could affect. About half of the audience as it happens including LL. It had no effect on me but then I'm rather sceptical about that sort of thing...
So he chose about six 'volunteers' (including LL) and got them to do silly things while 'under his power'...
I'm sure none of them had prior knowledge or relationship with the hypnotist. A couple of them I thought were just playing along with it, pretending to sweep up, etc. but some of the others (including LL) seemed genuinely under his control and be able to believe that they were in several unlikely situations and act out the part...
So it appears from my non-scientific analysis that certain people can be influenced by hypnotism.
Which raises the obvious question, why was the guy doing a show in a bar in Pissouri for €50 per night and not sitting on a multi-million Dollar yacht in the Caribbean having convinced other yacht owners to 'invest' in him...?
