Lovely drive from Auckland to Rotorua stopping for lunch in the Sweet Painted Lady Cafe in Waharoa…

A beer or three then a hot shower (still not hot water in Auckland) and ready to explore in the morning…

Then explored the rest of down town Rotorua…

Oh, and the reason for the picture of the butcher's shop is that in Auckland they have obscured fronts as though something naughty is going on or juveniles cannot be exposed the the raw meat therein...

Oh, and the reason for the pictures of the DUKW is that they had faux ones in Auckland!

But it did take me about 20 minutes to cross the fecking road there and back just to try and log-in from their WiFi... 

Had the best meal evah tonight, steak and chips and collapso... absolute perfection...

You can get decent collapso in a supermarket for about $15 here and we paid $36 for that excellent bottle in the restaurant last night...
