Interesting...  rubschin:

Everybody apparently heats water with lektrik...

The Lektrik Company demands access to your water heater supply or charges you extra for all your 'normal' lektrik....

So when the system is under stress (like now after the storms) they simply switch off your water heater remotely!  eeek:

Just had a bleddy cold shower!  cussing:

Coming to a Smart Meter near you shortly...  noooo:

Smelly ....... noooo:

NZ Day 11

Lazy day today with a slow start waiting for the weather to decide what to do.

Had a tour round this afternoon, Panmure Basin, Glendowie Sandspit, One Tree Hill to see the devastation cased by the storms this week then finally climbed to the top of One Tree Hill (for Steve).

Oh no don't blame me, I said NOT worth diverting away from a beer for.

Anyway when we did it we drove up most of the way  redface:

  the pics.  Some devastation that Nick causes when he merely thinks 'Auckland'
Well, whatever, nevermind

They are stopping driving up from May (apart from spaccas) but we parked at the bottom and walked up anyway... ;D

It can't be just the camera.  He has to have panned across at perfect pace while on high zoom.  A skill I'd love to have

Why do I get the feeling that LL will log on in a couple of days to amuse us all with the tale of BM finally finding the on switch for the water heater...  rubschin:
