I got stopped at Gatwick trying to go back through immigration to post a letter.  "Where have you just come from" I was asked.  Saying "here" wasn't the answer they took kindly too

Well, whatever, nevermind

For FaceArsers...
How is Auckland?

I like it. A lot so far... Reminds me of certain parts of the 'States 'cept they drive on the right side of the road... Which is the left side obvs. I'll try and put up some pics..

Does this work...?

 rubschin:
brilliantly

ta

We liked Auckland a lot on first visit but less so 2nd time. IMHO it's not so much a tourist destination more a place to live.   Do they still call the bridge the Nippon Clip-On?

(BTW if you see a short angry 'lady' with an umbrella she keeps clumsily jabbing people with, best to just kick her in front of a truck - that's what we should have done with the stupid cow)

I'll convert the others...

FaceArse seems to fuck about with albums of pictures and displays different numbers to different people... Pile of shite.

Yes, the Nippon Clip-ons are still known as such... Apparently the original (British built) bridge was full to capacity and they had to add the two extra lanes from Japan on each side... The British bits are apparently still in tip top condition while the clip-ons are as rusty as an extremely rusty thing...  noooo:

Haven't seen a lady with an umbrella as described but have seen plenty of 'ladies' in town...  noooo:

Shame about the bridge, they're going to be stuffed if they have to replace it.

That camera you're using is stunningly good

And took it out yesterday morning, set up for the first shot and 'No Memory Card'  Banghead

I've brought Terabytes of Micro SD cards with me but (because LL) managed to leave them all back at the house...  cussing:

Had to buy a card - NZ$19 for 8Gb... I didn't know they made them any more...  eeek:
