Nod’s cleaner has been having a tough time with her useless partner. Today she turned up unbidden and announced they had had a huge row and had decided to attack Nod’s oven with gloves, caustic soda and so on as a sort of therapy. She then had a heart attack!!

“There is a lot of ice inside it.”

“It’s a freezer.”

“Can you defrost it?”

“Not yet.”

“How can I defrost it?”

“Switch it off and open the door.”
