TV universal remote control woes

My TV remote has vanished!!

Bought an universal one today. I have to put a code in to make it work with the telly box. What sodding code? Nothing listed in the destructions or online.

Any geek suggestions??

rubschin:  Toshiba say they've never made such a TV.  Sure you've got the correct part no?  Toshiba TV part numbers always start with two numeric characters
