Breaking news, Alex Salmond is out.

Given how bad tonight has been I'm taking good news where I can find it.  redface:

And Clegg!  eveilgrin:

I watched that as it happened, he looked like someone had kicked him in the balls. Still managed to give a good losing speech though.

The more I think about it the more I'm convinced that the only credible choice for Conservative leader now is Ruth Davidson.  rubschin:

It's looking like a choice of soft Brexit to prop up the Tories or the 'Coalition of Chaos'

Stop the ride, I want to get off.

It's almost as if Theresa got her hands on a copy of Hilary's campaign manual and thought "that's the approach for me"  Banghead

But could Tim Farron really turn down the opportunity to be Deputy Prime Minister?

Of course he fucking won't... ::)

Farron's price will be making him Deputy Prime Minister (assuming that the SNP hasn't already taken that role) and having another referendum on leaving the EU because we were all too stupid to understand what we voted for last time.  Banghead

Seeing as they went from those two to Yvette Cooper I think you have the right idea...  Yargh:

Watched it til gone 4.30  surrender:

A sort of dodgy curate's egg result.  Happy to see the lying cow humiliated and Scottish independence kicked into the long grass but not good to see Corbyn do well.  Shame to see Goldsmith sneak back in and Robertson lose out.

Most worrying thing is we now have a government beholden to Ulster Unionists and the last time that happened people died in their thousands
Well, whatever, nevermind

At least comrade Corbyn won't persuade the deluded students to get up and vote for him a second time.
