So a very empty cinema for a 5pm showing. Probably about 20 people.

But it is much much better than the critics suggest.  Cinematography is very good and it's a decent enough plot with some clever twists and the Mandalorian never sets out to be the highest intellectual fare.  Yes there are some flaws, it's not a 10 out of 10 movie not even 9 out of 10 but we both enjoyed it and Mrs K even wondered about going to see it again.  I said no, it'll be on Disney+ soon enough.

The live action remake of Moana drops on Friday. Usually (well before the abomination that was Snow White at least) we'd be getting flooded with pre bookings by now. Just had a look at the seating and so far nobody has bought a ticket.

At least they can switch her off after the movie and we won't be subjected to her political views thereafter...

The film is out next week but something tells me the few people who are going to watch this are the ones who think Homer was just a character on the Simpsons.
