Just come from watching Dune so posting a quick review. I'll do a proper one after work.

I've waited 30 years for a decent adaptation and my God it was worth the wait. It looks beautiful, the casting is almost spot on and best of all it faithfully follows the novel so NO BLOODY WIERDING MODULES!!!  cloud9:

Thanks for that, saw the trailer when we went the other day and Mrs K said it's a must watch for us.  So good to know it's got that tick of approval.  :thumbsup:

If this is accurate it's going to be an interesting directorial choice, making a large part of the dialogue indecipherable to anyone who doesn't understand Spanish.  rubschin:

Twice this week I have seen items on the BBC about Operation Mincemeat "an account of a forgotten deception in WW2 that hardly anyone has ever heard about as it was secret for so long.."

They report it is based on a book called The Man Who Never Was.

Is that the same book that the film The Man who Never Was was based on in 1956???
