A good friend of ours has a wife who has been involved in several minor car prangs over the years.
On each occasion she insisted it was the fault of the other driver but it was always 'knock for knock' due to lack of evidence, with the inevitable loss of her no-claims and escalating premium.

They came for lunch on Boxing Day and he was telling us that, after another bump in November, he had bought her a dashboard camera gizmo for Xmas, to record everything in future.

He made a joke about nagging her to ensure it was turned on every time she goes out.

We heard today that she had been fiddling with it when she side-swiped a parked van.
