Tap water has chemical traces from the treatment process that the cats can taste, even when it has passed through Baldymort's all singing all dancing osmosis pump. Water that's been left for a while, such as a pond or a pool will have picked extras that makes it taste more natural to the discerning feline.  :thumbsup:

Tis absolutely true.  All our cats have only ever drunk pond water, filtered water or water that's been in their bowl for days

IMHO it's the Chlorine they hate, we certainly do but all the time there's Evian that pond ain't getting drunk by us

Had to get up early to take him back to vets as 'abscess' not going down so they had to sedate him to 'investigate'

Picked him back up 5 hours later, seems it's something else and he'll need continued antibiotics (= £££)  Thank F he's insured

he's been generally moaning ever since because we won't let him out but he's got junkie eyes right now.  He's also decided (yet again) that the lit tray is ideal to roll around in even after Pippi has used it for its more normal purpose.  Nooooooo   noooo:
