Shopping centre launches 'Ginger Discount' weekend

Scotland Red-heads and ginger-nuts are being invited to a special event in Aberdeen this weekend - as one of the town's shopping centres launches a Ginger Discount event.
Ginger people - or even those willing to don a ginger wig - will be able to claim 10 per cent off in a range of stores in the Union Square complex, including Nandos, Superdry, Cotwold Outdoor and TM Lewin.
The event was inspired by Aberdeen man Richard Macrae, aged 30, who received a joke 'Ginger Discount Card' for his birthday and claims to have made around £200 of savings by handing it over at the till.
Ryan Manson, general manager of Union Square, told the Evening Express:
“Richards tongue-in-cheek card made us laugh so much that we thought we should make the discount official – even if it’s for one weekend only.
Ginger Aberdonians can eat and shop from participating retailers with fantastic discounts that are sure to keep them out of the red.
