I have arrived, like.

At the airport I discovered I had left my Euros at home on the kitchen counter  cussing:

The cabby got lost, understandably as this hotel is a tad "isolated"

The manager or whatever seemed startled to see me and pored over a ledger for some time before announcing he was only expecting one new guest today. He showed me the booking. It had my name on it. I showed him my passport and he marvelled at the coincidence.

I casually enquired the whereabouts of the nearest bar, restaurant, supermarket, bus stop etc.

He produced a hand drawn map with no scale.

They are all a bare kilometer walk away down an unlit track.  eeek:

I can confirm that the bathroom drain is in the highest point of the floor and that air con is extra and the wifi only werks within 6 feet of reception.

It might have been a better idea to go to Morocco or Tunisia.  Thumbs:

It might have been a better idea to go to Morocco or Tunisia.  Thumbs:

Or get a cheap flight to Cyprus - he is just down the Rhodes from us.....  whistle:
