Had a new tyre fitted at vast expense a couple of months ago. Found it flat this morning

Drove to nearby tyre place and waited for them to open

They fitted a new tyre as I had driven it flat. No puncture found. Halfords had fitted a super long valve which had snagged on a Kerb and bent.

Mr New Tyre Man said it was the wrong valve.
4.45 tonight went to Halfords. Showed the manager (age 14) the old valve. Asked him why it was bent. "It is a long valve". Yes, what wheels would they normally fit such a valve to?
"Steel rims, never alloys."
Me: "It was fitted to my alloy wheels here 7 weeks ago"

Him: "Not all alloy wheels, sir, but some."
I say I want a refund.
He offers me a voucher.
I decline.
He says he can do no more.
I say, looking him directly in the name badge, "Thank you Mr Ben Philips, I shall now contact Halfords Customer Complaints"
I leave.
He just called. If I drop in tomorrow he will refund me in full and in cash
