Looks like being a fun week.
« on: August 25, 2007, 07:22:57 AM »
Monday Bank Holiday ~ So it will rain
Tuesday Buildings Inspector due to check new oil storage tank and boiler have been correctly installed. Workmen who installed same coming to "make good" walls etc but not until Blds Insp has OK'd their work so far.
Wednesday Installation of new kitchen units including extractor (hole to be drilled in wall)
Thursday Man coming to repair chimney stack, insert air-bricks where needed (dining room, bedroom above)
Friday Man coming to install four new radiators in bedrooms and Chimney Man returning to finish off
Mrs and puppies are going to visit her mother on Friday to keep "out of the way" (???)
Saturday/Sunday cleaning house from all the "workman's mess"
Monday Inset day so puppies do not return to training establishment until Tuesday. Thus Monday promises to be frantic day of finding satchels, shoes etc that have been moved around the house whilst builders go from room to room.
Tuesday RELAX!
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Sunday: F1 then cut grass whist it is still dry   ;) Weather forecast says good till at least Tuesday.  smile:

Monday: BH... Local walk group have decide in their wisdom to go across the local Transporter Bridge (on the gondola, http://www.du.edu/~jcalvert/tech/transport.htm I am not walking over it,  scared2: for anybody!!!) Then once or twice around the park at the other side then back over the bridge.

Two problems, it is the Bridge  http://www.fontb.org.uk/ OPEN DAY  and they only have 6 car parking places.  doh:
It is also the local Carnival and all roads will be blocked off by the time we want to come back.  whacky115

Tuesday: will be fully occupied with various hospital and vampire appointments, if there is any free time an elderly neighbour who is moving on Wednesday want me to take her to the new (extra care sheltered flat) place and whist I do that move a pile of boxes and bags (Whey when they are not fitting the carpets until Wednesday morning???) This will all end in tears.

Wednesday: Local food co-op day, as long as they deliver the orders I fax into them sometime this weekend.
Possible free time in the afternoon, as neighbour above has already pointed out.

Thursday: (free so far) I guess the local community office will find me something to do, I have printed out all the menus and place cards for the Gala Evening on Friday but I know they have at least 5 amendments so I will be there for part of the day and when I go in they always find work for me.

Friday: last minute panic for the Gala Evening tonight, something will go wrong.

Saturday: I fear it is Granddaughters sleepover day. Local park - feeding swans - trying to wear them out. Ha!

Sunday: take the gremlins to their nature watch at a local marsh.

And breathe.   cloud9:

How far is that from Tonypandy?

About 30 miles or so. Go to Newport, Gwent and follow signs (or the River Usk).

BTW Don't you own a map?

Of course ~ I've just realised ~ Tail Gunners always face the back so you have no idea where you are going ~ EVER!

Well?

So you don't need a map!  point:
You always ask the pilot.

AND I told you how far, which way and where to get an accurate route ~ but Thank the Cat why not ~ bloody felines always stick together .....mutter, mutter, mumble in a discontented hound like fashion

Pilot faces front = knows where he is going
Tail Gunner faces back = knows where he has been
