The first Classic and Historic Car Museum in Cyprus was inaugurated on Saturday in the village of Ypsonas, west of Limassol by Transport Minister Tasos Mitsopoulos.
The creation of the museum sets new perspectives for historical cars on the island, the minister said at the opening ceremony.
The exhibits cover a century of car engineering, with the oldest car being a Ford Model T from 1912. The Museum’s collection includes also the presidential Cadillac which the US government presented to the Archbishop Makarios in 1977 and a 1973 Rover P5 which was one of the cars used the late British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
The Mini Cooper which Rowan Atkinson was driving as “Mr. Bean” in the popular TV comedy series stands out among the exhibits of the museum. The Museum also hosts a famous Dutch “Bough” bicycle, made entirely by oak wood. (CNA)

'tis a thing of beauty Barman, great simple engineering 

On the VW's pic... that concrete looks like it's been tipped and they've knocked the top of it and smoothed it with the back of the shovels... job sorted
