I grew up with this type of segregation in Scotland ....   noooo:   Catholic and Protestant schools and it is still the same ludicrous  in this day and age....  Religion has a lot to answer for ... evil:

You think that's bad, within a five mile radius of my house there is 1 Muslim School, 1 Sikh School, 1 Catholic School, ! Convent School, 1 CofE School plus several 'Normal' Schools, 2 of which have mostly Polish students.

There are also plans for a further Muslim School & a Sikh School

Religious based schools should get no money from the state and lots of oversight at their expense.  Some things France gets very very right
