Oh dear  eeek:

Made the call because was supposed to be a 7 hour shift today and was told it had just all gone wrong  shocked003

Apparently now (but don't know why now) all the PC's aren't talking to the new printer ............... being a non-techo myself I have no idea and had no sensible advice to offer a rather distraught BM apart from sit down, relax, have a cup of tea and think it through....................don't think he felt that was totally supportive but it was the best advice I could offer   redface:

Further updates later and they maybe quite colourful when BM does/maybe gets home

Darwin's yer man

The problem is that it needs it's IP memory purged.

Remove the paper from the tray and place the printer in a warm bath with a tablespoon of washing up liquid.

Leave it for 30 minutes to ensure all the corrupt data has been removed, then remove and place on a pile of newspapers for an hour.

Re-load the paper and switch on. You will find you can no longer print a test page with WIFI or cable.

Job done.

Classic advice - thank you JOM and Mr. D

Admit I did also say the two following things  redface:

Have you tried pulling the plug out at the back and then putting it carefully back in again

and

Are you sure there isn't a paper jam

worthy: worthy: You make paper jam, how much pectin do you need or do you just use 'jam sugar' I think you should post the recipe in the Bickering thread. whistle:
I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.
