Stuff at the beginning of films
« on: July 19, 2013, 01:16:19 PM »
Is it me, or does there appear to be more and more pointless 'stuff' at the beginning of movies these days...?

For instance, in the filum that LL claims not to have seen (::)), it opens with: -

Overture FilmsA Starz Company

Then the next 'scene'...

Groundswell

Which fades out and fades in to...

Participant Productions

Which fades out and fades in to...

Overture Films in association with…

Which fades out and fades in to...

Groundswell Productions and Participant Productions present

Which fades out and fades in to...

A next Wednesday Production (who?)

The Visitor - tee-daaa, at last!

Who cares and/or gives a flying fuck about any of that... and who will ever remember it...? Shrugs:

Ah but does it work in a real cinema Nick?

OP seconded.  It's just silly silly silly and worse on a DVD you also get all that non skippable shite about not showing it on oil rigs etc.  Yeah like the law applies there.
Well, whatever, nevermind

Shrugs:

Just tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much spare time on your hands BM   eveilgrin:

Get dog walking or give us a hand with supper - off to pan fry something  ;D
