Lived just outside Alnwick for a couple of years.  When I first got there, aged about 13, I couldn't understand a word. When I left (2 years later) I had picked up the accent and the words and no one in the Midlands could understand a word I said. confused:

In my student days I hitched a lift from a Geordie. He was talkative  evil:

I could not understand a word he said and spent three hours nodding and smiling  noooo:

So Boogs given that he is as ugly as sin what is it about him that we are attracted to?

I do think that the Geordie accent if it isn't too harsh is quite sexy, I have just had a ponder, I know Shocked: and I don't think that I find any other British accent sexy other than maybe Colin Firth and Hugh Grant type accents.

Not his looks or his accent me thinks, I think prolly personality, humour, seems like a nice guy not up his own arse. Very down to earth....

Colin Firth , tasty but for me I think a maybe bit too goody, goody  I think he would bore me... Saying that if he was really like Mr Darcy well now you are talking.. Drool:

Romance what gerl doesn't love a bit of romance if we can get it...  ::)  Not to much tho that then becomes taken for granted TBH I think I would take advantage..  Not OTT either it seems false not genuine just seems OFFS...

Now Hugh Grant an arsehole .....  noooo: noooo: noooo: does nothing for me..

That is my thoughts Miss C how about yours...

Hate to shatter your illusions Boogs but I knew two people who were on the set when they did the much later series of Auf Wiedersehen Pet he was the exact opposite. Loads of demands of he wanted this, that, and the other; and made a point with not mixing with the other "stars" when hanging around the set... played a great part though
