We used to get eggs from a friend here .....free range things ..they were amazing ....yolks were huge.... 
Yes, he'd just collected them from his farm, stopped to say "hello" and started dishing them out...
Strangely, not half-an-hour earlier I stopped and helped his partner take the sign down from outside their restaurant (for refurbishment).... A sort of Pay-it forward type thing...
