Welcome Quest, lovely post by you and responses by all above. Suddenly my day seems a lot lot brighter, thank you x
BM not a happy bunny today
This is Alison Lawrence's sister here and I'm just popping in with a message for Miss C. AJ mentioned this forum and at the weekend I googled in a fit of curiosity, found you and read this thread. So I have joined to post you this message...The week after M died, AJ mentioned that they wanted the scooter(s) to go where they would make a difference. She asked me if I knew of anyone (I work in the disability field and have a number of disabled friends and colleagues), but there was no-one I thought appropriate. The subject came up again in Dyserth last Tuesday evening but I still had no-one in mind. We left it that the person it was "meant" for would turn up sooner or later, and preferably sooner. After her conversation with you, Miss C, at the gate on Wednesday afternoon she told us that she thought you should have it and, as you know from Garfield, we all agreed that this sounded good. It was discussed again late that evening with mention that you would be returning to try it out and AJ mentioned it again the next day while we were having coffee. We said how pleased we were that the right person had been found. It is clear that you are the person meant to have it, and it is particularly good to hear that it will change your life. So while you are saying that you feel "humbled and somewhat privileged", we in turn feel grateful that the right person emerged easily and so obviously, and that the scooter that made such a difference to M has found a good home where it will continue to make a difference in someone's life.EPS Mind the Gates!
I was thinking, you often read and see in the news of some horrible deeds and the scum that perpetrate them. So much so that that you despair of the human race. Then, someone like Malcolm, his family and the people they know and love come along and remind you that there are good, kind and caring souls in world. It's a shame it's often only noticed after their passing.

Thank you Quest.I was out last night and this morning so have only just seen this post. It has made me smile afresh.Luckily there are no gates here just some rather steep slopes so I need to practice me 'ill starts.
Funnily enough my daughter said that today when I told her the tale. Mr C is beside himself with excitement at the thought of inventing a solar powered rocket launcher.Anyhoo I came here to say that I am not one for putting stickers on car windows or hanging fluffy dice from mirrors but I have just purchased one of these for the Snoopsmobile. I thought it appropriate somehow.
Wo'ris it like?
