Miss C ...it may need a bit of customisation
I will do my best. The drive has a fairly steep gradient, as does the garden if I don't get it right on the way down I may well gain enough momentum to end up Wiley Coyote like against a tree on the other side of the valley.I now have the March of the Dambusters as an earworm.
Quote from: Garfield on May 17, 2013, 08:46:29 AMIt was indeed lovely to meet the VP contingent, despite the circumstances. I don't think any of the family were aware of the service starting early, but we'd been kept outside standing next to the hearse for a considerable amount of time before they unloaded which seemed beyond cruel so were all a bit numb. Nor did I notice the fireplace shop but rest assured that would have raised a hoot from him That must have been awful for you all and my comments were in no way directed at the family, I hope that you know that. Ihave pondered on whether I should share this or not, my ponderings led me to the conclusion that my reasons for not sharing are selfish therefore share I will.

I didn't for a second think the comments were directed at us, apologies if that was implied. I'm so glad you did decide to post this. Alison had told us when she came back in and everyone agreed it was the very best thing to do, and whilst I believe the boys had a moment of sorrow that they never would get to race his two scooters ... the rest of Dyserth most likely breathed a sigh of relief
