Hi Sheilagh thank you for your lovely post and for taking the time to make it when things must be fairly frantic and sad.
A few years ago, well more than a few your dad mentioned you in a PM to me, I queried the spelling of your name and asked if it was Gaelic, he told me and I don't know if it's true or if you know bur he told me that your name had been written down on your birth certificate wrong and that he and your mum had never corrected it.
I will be one of the VPers at your Dads funeral next week and I hope that I have the pleasure of meeting you but will understand if that doesn't happen.
You have probably gathered that your dad was the much loved and appreciated pub 'dog'. He is and will remain greatly missed but not forgotten.
Should you ever wish to come back just for a look around then please do and we will all have a whip round and buy you a drink.
